I think I met all my goals that I set for myself. I have noticed that I am a little more comfortable in the kitchen, I still need work though. I had full support from my best friend and family. It felt good to help out my parents not having to cook after a long day at work. I am going to try to continue helping them out every once in a while especially in the summer when I have more time on my hands. After all this experiment was a success.
I took pictures of the whole process, but its way too many to post on here.
- All my ingredients
- Finished Empanada cut in half
The came out amazing. Empanadas are my favorite Colombian food.
- Ground Beef
- Potatoes
- Hard boiled eggs
- Tomatoes
- Green peppers
- Onions
- Cilantro
- Flour dough
I will be making Beef Empanadas Colombian style! In my household we do bake them instead of frying them. We are not big on frying stuff like the typical Colombian is. Yay for yummy and healthier food! Anyways, I am super excited to do this dish!
Ill post the recipe later.. I have to ask my mom for it.
The picture from the recipe book looks a lot better! It was good I expected it to be a lot better than it was.
changing the recipe a little once again but these are the main ingredients minus the chicken defrosting!
Going shopping today for my coconut chicken curry
I guess I have made some progress. I getting a little more comfortable in the kitchen. I do find myself leaning more toward the more complicated recipes!
I might change my mind about doing crepes this week. I was looking through different books of recipes and came across a oriental recipe book.
